Return to the Island of Misfit Toys

Having blogged yesterday about at least part of the toy collection I had as a child got me thinking about a more comprehensive list.

Yes, you've tuned in for the sequel RETURN TO THE ISLAND OF MISFIT TOYS!
Directed by George Lucas, produced by Rick Mccallum.  Musical score by John Williams and the Boston Pops Orchestra.

The Island of Misfit Toys

I haven't blogged in quite a while.  I got bogged down (not blogged down, though they might amount to the same thing.)  Watched Julie and Julia the other night, and the main character states that a blog is an inherently narcissistic thing.  I'm not sure that is entirely accurate, because there are lots of blogs out there that I have found which cater to a specific theme, such as the coffee blog I found, or book review blogs etc.  Mine however, is fairly narcissistic such as today's.

Today's topic is childhood toys, my childhood toys to be exact.

The true value of a dog

There is a children's book by Charles M. Schulz entitled "Happiness is a warm puppy."
Those words hold a more significant meaning to me now that I have my own son.

I used to get these stuck up my nose

Actually that was Ralph Wiggum on the Simpsons, but it was funny anyway.  I was talking about these...Legos.
